Presenter Information
Presenter Registration
All presenters, lead and co-presenters, must register for the Convention by the preregistration deadline date. NASSP offers ONE COMPLIMENTARY Convention registration to the lead contact for the session. All co-presenters must register at the member rate of $295. Any co-presenters not registered by the preregistration deadline date will automatically be registered by NASSP and invoiced for the $295 fee.
Address or Copresenter Changes?
Please make sure to keep NASSP in the loop regarding any changes in your information. Adding, removing, or changing co-presenters? Updating or changing your address? We need to know. All changes must be submitted in writing. Send your updates to .
Audiovisual Equipment
NASSP will have the following AV equipment as part of the standard room set:
Lectern with microphone
Lavaliere microphone(s) with clip-on
Tabletop microphone(s)
LCD projector; NOTE: Computer not provided by NASSP
Screen
Please note that AV items not included in the standard room set up-such as and overhead projector, a DVD player, a 25" color TV monitor, and flip charts with colored markers-are available upon request. To obtain, please email with your request by Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
Session Room Information
A speaker packet will be mailed to all lead and co-presenters in early November containing the following information:
Session title, date, and time
Room number, capacity, and setup
Instructions for sending handouts to the convention center
Registration information and housing information
Ticketed events
You can find out how many participants have registered for your session by contacting NASSP at 800-253-7746, ext. 260.
Nonticketed sessions
These sessions fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Your session information sheet will inform you of the maximum capacity of the room that your session will be held in.
Handout Guidelines
You are responsible for providing copies of your session handouts. It is important that you have enough handouts for the maximum number of attendees that could be in the session. Your session information sheet (mailed to all in November, 2009) will include the maximum capacity of the room that your session will be held in. Information about sending your handouts to the convention center will also be included in your speaker packet.
