Parents Ginger and Larry Katz connect powerfully with students, parents and educators through their no-holds-barred, intensely personal account of their son Ian, a promising college student, whose life was destroyed by drugs. Beginning with graphic depiction’s of Ian’s first forays into the use of marijuana and alcohol as a young teen, they will recount the story of Ian’s addiction and ultimate death by accidental overdose. The program fosters open communication about the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse among young people.
