How do we prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s careers? Career planning is at the heart and soul of helping middle and high school students find their passion and motivate them to achieve their educational and future goals. The American School Counselor Association and the U.S. Army Recruiting Command have developed a model student career plan that is easily adopted for widespread use in middle and high schools. Participants will learn how to use the career planning process to motivate students to achieve high standards and to better prepare them for transitions from middle to high school and to postsecondary options.
