308. Random Drug Testing for Athletes and Students Involved in Activities

This workshop is designed to provide case law and legal expertise surrounding the implementation of random drug testing programs for students involved in athletics and/or cocurricular activities. The workshop will provide feedback on community input and strategies for smooth implementation of a random testing program. Participants will receive sample policies from schools currently involved in testing as well as “step by step” instruction on how to randomly select students and ways to facilitate the actual collection process.
