327. Building and Sustaining Quality Concurrent Enrollment Programs: A National Perspective of School-College Partnerships
Category: Ties to Higher Education
Time: Monday, February 24, 11:45am-1:15pm
Room: 8
In this day of accelerated high school programs and parental and peer pressures to excel, the demand for college and pre-college options in high schools have increased, but to date there have been few guidelines to help school administrators determine which programs are good ones. This session presents recent information on the partnership movement, and examines concurrent enrollment/dual credit pre-college options specifically, suggesting standards by which the quality of these programs can be judged.
