In his presentation, Anthony Alvarado, Chancellor of Instruction, Institute for Learning, San Diego City Schools will emphasize the improvement of instruction as the primary vehicle for improving student achievement. Attention will be paid to teaching practices at the classroom level, site leadership at the school level, and central leadership at the district level.
