This session offers a glimpse of the past in the portrayal of African American men, women, and children through the personal memorabilia and art collection of the presenter, who poignantly tells a portion of the story of African Americans by combining a slide presentation with poetry. Educators can see images and hear the voices of our country’s African American citizens from a historical and contemporary perspective.
