Category: Leadership/Governance
Time: Saturday, March 10, 11:00am-12:30pm
Room: Hyatt Regency Phoenix , Regency Ballroom A
(Please note hotel location for this session.) Join us for interesting insights about ourselves as principals, how we organize and lead our schools, and the nature of the programs we provide for our middle level students. Contrast your personal background, experiences, style, and school programs with findings from across the nation. Since the inception of a middle level of education, NASSP has sponsored a decade study of the principalship and programs in middle level schools across the country. Presenters will discuss the initial findings from the 2000 National Study of Leadership in Middle Level Schools, including details about today's principalship, leadership practices, and school programs. A question and answer period will occur near the end of the session.
