269. Teachers Teaching Teachers: Examining Basic Moral Issues

Category: Diversity
Time: Sunday, March 11, 3:30pm-5:00pm
Room: Room 38

Teaching sensitive issues and prejudice reduction requires a continuing effort to provide teachers with knowledge of appropriate materials and methods. A team of educators will use a multimedia approach to share the innovative inservice course they designed to instruct teachers on teaching the Holocaust and other difficult topics effectively. This model successfully trains teachers how to teach ethical issues to students, allowing them to infuse this content into their lessons.
