This workshop is designed to provide case law and legal expertise as applied to issues commonly associated with the implementation of random drug testing programs for students involved in athletics and cocurricular activities. Participants will receive sample policies from schools currently involved in testing as well as be provided with “step by step”instruction on how to randomly select students and ways to facilitate the actual collection process. The workshop will give feedback on ideas for good community input and strategies for smooth implementation of a random testing program.
