266. Brain Compatible Learning: Practical Strategies for Teachers of Students At-Risk
Category: Diversity
Time: Sunday, March 11, 3:30pm-5:00pm
Room: Rooms 23-25
In 2020 the majority of students in our schools will be at risk. Current brain research suggests practical strategies for reaching students who often experience problems at school. We will use a practical model to explore how to help students increase positive learning state, create meaning from lessons, increase attention in class, retain for tests, and transfer learning to life. Join us and experience a powerful toolbox of successful strategies from a state dropout prevention initiative.
