260. SEMORE: The Seven-Minute Observational Record
Category: Leadership/Governance
Time: Sunday, March 11, 3:30pm-5:00pm
Room: Rooms 8-10
SEMORE facilitates administrators’ ability to see more! This allows for an increased number of classroom visits, closer monitoring of instructional practices, a structured procedure for providing meaningful feedback, and a significant reduction in discipline referrals. Principals and assistant principals are more visible and able to monitor curricula implementation. Using SEMORE printed forms, participants will practice collecting classroom data, correlating the data to planning and instructional expectations and constructing a plan for conducting meaningful feedback.
