This session is designed to provide high school principals with new information and new strategies to combat the perennial problems encountered by first-year teachers. The presentation uses responses from more than 100 first-year teachers that describe the first-year experience. Principals will come away from this session with greater insight into the world of the first-year teacher and equipped with effective strategies to assist the first-year teacher.
