225. Ensuring Effective Teaching and Learning to Reach Higher Standards and Accountability
Category: Curriculum & Instructional Strategies
Time: Sunday, March 11, 11:00am-12:30pm
Room: Rooms 13-15
Standards and assessments provide focus and, in many cases, high levels of stress for teachers and administrators seeking ways to meet the challenge with students for whom many traditional teaching practices haven’t been effective. In this interactive session, explore a research-supported model for effective teaching and learning based on balancing sound instructional practices with students’ individual needs. Participants will receive a handout reviewing the effective teaching and learning model with practical strategies and resources.
