203.Conscious Classroom Management: Bringing Out the Best in Students and Teachers

Why is it that effective classroom management is often invisible? How do we teach these seemingly hidden skills to our new and struggling teachers? This session addresses these invisible skills by simulating a new teacher workshop to provide staff developers and administrators with lively interactive strategies that they can use in working with new teachers. The lessons modeled are designed to immediately help with classroom management, lesson planning, and stress reduction. Detailed handouts will be provided.
