328. Implementing Best Practices in Professional Development

The Council for Basic Education is facilitating a variety of promising, on-site, teacher-centered, professional development activities designed to improve both teaching and teachers. Activities include reviewing and discussing student work and participating in Lesson Study, a type of teacher inquiry based on Japanese practice. These methods, illustrated by video, will be presented for group discussion.
