This informative program will discuss how Heath High School handled a school shooting tragedy. It will cover the school’s response to an extreme crisis and highlight its recovery and accomplishments over the next three years. Presented by Bill Bond, the principal of Heath High School, and presently, the NASSP’s resident practitioner for safe and orderly schools, this session will help all principals to clarify their crisis management plan. Throughout the session, Bond will offer his ideas on ways to ensure that all students feel safe and secure at school, thereby allowing them to become successful students.
