Is there a set of skills that can be considered vital to our effectiveness as principals? In this session, we will present and engage in discussion of five essential imperatives that characterize the work of principals in effective and improving schools. Participants will receive materials describing the five imperatives; self assess their current use of the imperatives, and consider how they can effectively incorporate the imperatives in their professional lives and the life of their school.
