As the baby boomers retire and many administrators are faced with massive retooling of their faculties, the need for intensive induction programs is becoming more critical to our success. The entire induction process from hiring of the best new teachers to orienting and supporting them in their initial years in your schools will be discussed in this session. The presenter will offer strategies for all phases of the process. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their experiences with inducting new teachers and to share their ideas with the other participants.
