Category: Organization & Time
Time: Sunday, March 3, 1:30pm-3:00pm
Room: Room 214
This presentation will describe how schools can use flexible scheduling to create conditions that best promote and support improved teaching and learning. The presenter will share examples of schedules taken from the Boston Pilots School, a network of innovative urban schools. These exemplars show schedules that meet the needs of students and teachers through such structures as longer learning blocks of time for instruction and more common planning time for teacher collaboration.
