You are familiar with Breaking Ranks: Changing an American Institution. In this session, you will find out to what extent the Breaking Ranks recommendations actually contribute to higher student achievement. The session is presented by John Lammel, a former NASSP president and a member of the Commission that produced Breaking Ranks; John Nori, associate director for school improvement at NASSP, and former high school principal in Montgomery County, MD; and Rosa Aronson, associate director of programs for the TREE Foundation, who conducted an analysis of the research around Breaking Ranks.
