Principals play a critical role in creating a school climate that ensures equal learning opportunities for all students, including those with special needs. The principal's vision and leadership are also critical in the development of quality assistive technology services for those students. This session will provide resource materials and specific suggestions to help principals take an active role in developing or improving assistive technology services in their buildings and committing district resources during IEP meetings.
