Implementing the elements of Breaking Ranks can systematically support high school renewal. This session, facilitated by members of the High School Task Force, will review the findings of the ten-year study of high schools and the change in high school organization over the past decade and provide an opportunity for participants to engage with one another in round table discussion on these issues. A primary focus of the session will be dialogue among participants for the purpose of sharing successful leadership strategies that promote personalization, coherency in the curriculum, and professional development. Discussion at this session will enrich the capacity of participants in school renewal efforts and help guide the work of the High School Task Force.
