335. Teaching Young Adolescents: Pathways for Professional Development

Middle Level Session

Category: Professional Development
Time: Monday, March 4, 11:30am-1:00pm
Room: Rooms 308 & 309

There are those who are "born again" when it comes to changing practice at the middle level, and then there are those "born against." How do we get those reluctant teachers to see the adolescent in a different light? Sustained staff development at the team, school, and network levels can and has made true believers. This session will give guidance, advice, and many examples of the pathways for professional development available to schools involved in Turning Points - based reform.
