The ArtsLiteracy Project provides ongoing mentoring for teachers, active workshops demonstrating the performance literacy model, collaborative teaching between artists and teachers, a “Performance Cycle” that guides all professional development workshops and student learning, a summer lab school where the community of teachers and artists is formed, and ongoing reflection on teaching practice. Participants will engage in performance activities and reflect on how they can affect the culture of a school and/ or district.
