Encircling the heavy dark cup are the letters DOFPIC--each an inch high by an inch wide. In smaller print is the listing of six words from which the acronym is constructed (Discipline, Organization, Focus, Patience, Independence and Confidence). Six leadership words that give guidance and counsel as school face the challenge of NCLB. The Seven-Minute Observational Record (SEMORE) leverages and focuses the modern administrators time and activity on the crucial role of being in teachers’ classrooms and providing meaningful feedback.
