123. Experiencing Project 540: Student Voice in School Decision-Making

Project 540 is a unique schoolwide, student-led initiative aimed at fully involving students in discussing, proposing, and implementing recommendations for school and community change. Through Project 540, students work with teachers, administrators, parents, and community leaders to draft plans for acting on their concerns and ideas. Participants will see how Project 540 has provided greater opportunities for civic involvement among high school students.
