Creating a learning community within an established traditional high school can be difficult. The process of building consensus around high student achievement while creating a learning community is in fact, a process of building trust based on mutual respect. This session will cover various strategies for developing a culture of learners, including group process, consensus building, coalition formation, school improvement teams, personalization, and data-driven decision making.
