110. Discipline is Not Punishment: Making an “A” in In-School Suspension

This interactive workshop will introduce an effective in-school suspension model for high school and middle level students. See a demonstration of an original, teacher-generated rubic for grading student performance. Examine four elements necessary for student success: preparation, orientation, implementation, and assessment. Learn how to create an environment where discipline and learning occur simultaneously.
